Research and planning - Good vs Bad trailer

Here I have two trailers, the top one is The conjuring and the second one is Paranormal activity.

Both these trailers have different budgets, The conjuring has a budget of 20 million dollars and paranormal activity has a budget of 15,000 dollars, there is a huge difference here and we can tell that through the trailer. The editing for paranormal activity is not as good as the conjuring's editing, The cinematography in both trailers are very different, as the conjuring was filmed by a camera team, as we can tell through thr quality of the trailer and then Paranormal activity was filmed using a hand held camera which was done through one of the characters boyfriends, this is clearly seen through the budget prices, that it wasn't going to be as good as the conjuring. Also paranormal activity for most of the trailer, showed the audience attending a screening and their reactions and not much of the film, however the conjuring gives the audience an insight into clips of the films, and gives them a view of what the film is about, making them want to continue on to watching the film. Also the mise en scene for both the trailers were very similar, in the sense that they were filmed in homes, and were surrounded by trees and empty land.

However for my Horror trailer I Will not be able to have camera crew like the conjuring did , but like paranormal activity I will be able to use a camera and film like them. However both these trailers are good, overall realistically I think I will be able to film a trailer like paranormal activity rather than the conjuring.
